Villu(Tamil,Devi Sri Prasad)
Aakalesthe's equivalent,Daddy Mummy has astoundingly bad lyrics but Mamta Mohandas' vocals is the major highpoint in the Tamil version too.Jalsa Title track and the remix sound godawful in the Tamil version and the original charm of the track is completely lost.Om Namaste Bolo's equivalent,Dheem Dhanakka is corny and very addictive with Devi's vocals only adding to the feel of the song.Despite the fact that his telugu compositions sound oh-so-repulsive in Tamil,it is certainly bound to be lapped up by the Tamil audiences.But Devi drifts to the cacophonous side when it comes to his own tamil compositions.Vijay's intro track,Hey Rama Rama,is predictably all noise while Are you crazy makes you wonder if you're actually crazy listening to the song.Nee Kova Pattal just passes muster(Iam getting sick of Sagar's voice!) while the last track,Vaada Mapla is incredibly silly.This time,its Devi overdose in Villu!..

hey dude..
was waiting for your review since morning..
so what about the people who haven't heard any of the tracks in telugu..please don't compare and write it..i know you have mentioned it in your review but still give proper comments to all songs..
jalsa sounds good only and vaada maapila has good lyrics (in certain areas)and also the starting tune is gud...
anyways..it turns out to be a very bad album from DSP...hope the visuals make it interesting atleast..and of course vijay's dance should just do the job..lets hope..
