Nandhalala(Tamil,Ilaiyaraja)

To be honest,Mella Oorndhu Oorndhu is outdated and is just a recycle of one of his famous songs(I cant recall now!..Just a gut feeling!) but is changed altogether to a different genre!..Onnu Konnu is excellent with magical vocals by Yesudas and beautiful backgrounds.Thalattu Ketka Naanum and Oru Vaandu Koottame are typical Raja songs which just pass muster.Vijay Yesudas,Madhu Balakrishnan and Swetha are adorable in Kai Veesi and the tune is instantly likeable.Saroja Amma's rendering in Elilea Elilea is actually very funny,as though she was forced to come into the studio and sing!..Ilaiyaraja's Nandhalala is good but Naan Kadavul was better!..But It is heartening to see that Ilaiyaraja seems to be doing what he knows best rather than keeping with the trends!..
